Within the past month, the Big View has issued multiple warnings to the Chicago Bulls and its organization for ignoring call-to-action protocols laid out by the league. This is the first time the Bulls have been warned since the 2017-2018 season.
The Big View, a branch of the NBA (National Basketball Association), asserts its stance that the Bulls must take a grave view of the responsibilities given to a sports organization. According to the Big View, the Bulls must ensure the health and safety of all players, staff, and fans connected to the organization. The league has repeatedly emphasized that protocols put into place by the NBA must be followed.
When asked to comment on the warnings given out by the Big View, Bulls spokesman Dennis Gaudenzi released this statement: “The Chicago Bulls take our role as a sporting organization very seriously. We understand the league’s and the Big View’s expectations for us and we are working hard to comply with all protocols put in place by the NBA. Our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and health of our players, staff, and fans.”
It seems that the Chicago Bulls are indeed learning from their mistakes and is now committed to compliance with NBA regulations. There has been no comment from the Bulls regarding additional sanctions they could face for disregarding the Big View’s warnings.
It’s up to the Bulls and its organization to take heed to the warnings given and make sure to adhere to all protocols set by the NBA. If the Bulls fail to do this, they could face much stricter penalties such as monetary fines or discipline from the league. If something of this magnitude were to occur, it could be catastrophic for the franchise and the team’s reputation going forward.
We’ll just have to wait and see the outcome of the Big View’s warnings to the Bulls. Here’s to hoping that the Bulls organization will take the Big View’s advice to heart and do the right thing.
